Forney ISD Staffing Update
The template for this report is composed of four sections and will be used to provide updated information over the upcoming weeks and months. The first section of the report will identify any positions for which the district is accepting applications from internal candidates. The second section includes positions that have been eliminated as a result of employees discontinuing employment with the district since January 1, 2012. The third section is very similar, but it identifies positions eliminated between December 1, 2010-December 31, 2011. It should be noted that the second and third sections are condensed summaries of data the HR Department is tracking. There have been other staffing changes made due to changes in enrollment and the need to reallocate staff members, but only staffing changes which have resulted in a net reduction in the number of district employees are included in this report. Examples of staffing changes not listed include the following:
….reallocations of positions housed at the administration building if the staff member was moved into a new/additional position on a campus
…..reallocations of positions from FHS, BMS, and WMS to NFHS to create additional positions on that campus due to the addition of twelfth grade
….reallocation of an elementary teacher from one campus to another due to changing enrollment patterns/counts
The last section of the report lists positions for which resignations have been submitted as part of the Early Notification Incentive Program. This list identifies additional possibilities for the reduction in district personnel.
