She is willing to utilize new and innovative teaching strategies which makes learning fun for her students. She teaches in a manner in which learning is made relevant to her student's lives and assists them in applying their knowledge in many different situations.

She is very loving and kind to her students even when disciplining and correcting misbehavior. Her students grow academically over the course of their kindergarten year and also leave her class well prepared for 1st grade. Mrs. Tuley is a master teacher with a servant's heart."

"Holly Rush has long made the difference in many students' lives as a compassionate educator. Here at Crosby Elementary, Holly serves as our school's MTA teacher; her knowledge for helping students overcome their struggles with reading is not to be matched. She is a master teacher and can always be counted on to not only get the job done, but go the extra mile. As a teacher, she fulfills her responsibilities with a passion that clearly communicates that she cares so much for every one of her students.

Holly also serves as one of our campus leaders and does so with humility and approachability that welcomes both parents and fellow teachers alike. She is a great listener and friend to all that come to know her.

One of the greatest attributes that Holly Rush possesses is the ability to relate to people both young and old; she is extremely positive and solution-focused and continues to let her light shine on our campus."

She excels at meeting the needs of each and every child in her classroom She individualizes instruction to enhance the strengths of her students while addressing their academic needs.

Above all of her exceptional teaching skills, the best compliment that I can give Mrs. Anthony is that her students love and respect her, and because of her exceptional relationship with her students, they work extremely hard for her each and every day. Her students love to learn from her because they know that Mrs. Anthony loves to teach them."

Lewis Elementary School
Mary Beth Hatch
2nd Grade Teacher

"Mrs. Hatch is an amazing person and teacher. She brings such joy to the students, parents and staff of Lewis Elementary. She has worked diligently with one of her teammates who is new to the grade level to help her be successful. She is innovative in her instructional practices and she seeks out resources to enhance her classroom instruction and to address the needs of her students individually.

Mrs. Hatch brought the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) to our campus three years ago. The program is designed to increase participation of dads on the campus. It has created a huge, lasting change on our campus. She has also worked closely with our ACE students creating a community of support for them in the 2nd grade. She has also created an end-of-year 'Leopard Bowl' to replace the UIL competition.

Mrs. Hatch is such an amazing team player and positively impacts the overall learning environment at Lewis."
