Dr. Zemlicka has more than 14 years of experience as a superintendent with Garrison ISD in Garrison, Texas and with Willis ISD in Willis, Texas. He began his career in education in 1986 as an elementary teacher in Nacogdoches ISD in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was the principal of the elementary and middle school in Garrison ISD for seven years before being named the district’s superintendent in 1997. He was named the superintendent at Willis ISD in 2003.
Dr. Zemlicka received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas and his Doctoral Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
