Lucas Janda has more than 16 years of experience in school finance including 10 years as a financial auditor of public school districts. Before joining Forney ISD, he was the Chief Financial Officer/Business Manager at Stafford Municipal School District in Stafford, Texas.
Janda received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

The Business and Finance department functions range from the implementation and monitoring of the operational budget to the tracking and reporting of student enrollment and attendance information. Included in the student information is the development of student projections and attendance area redistricting.
